Introduction

Christ Memorial Christian Preschool was organized in 1978 by members of Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church.   Its purpose is to provide the preschool child with a traditional nursery school environment and program correlated with teachings from the Bible.   We strongly believe in the words of the Book of Proverbs, chapter 22, verse 6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."

Entrance Requirements

Children of all nationalities, religions and sex are welcome to attend the school.   Membership is open to children who will turn 3, 4 or 5 by September 30 of the current school year.   All children must be toilet trained.

Goals

The goals of the school cover all the areas of a child's development- physical emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual.   Each of these developmental areas is equally important in our curriculum planning.   We strive to allow each child to grow to his or her own capacity in these developmental areas.   [ Click here to see a list of our target "Readiness Skills". ]

Curriculum

Our curriculum covers the following main topics: God and Me, God and My Family, God and My Neighborhood, and God and My World.   Each area leads to many interesting learning experiences. Field trips and resource people are utilized to make our lessons more meaningful.
