Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is one of the nation's leading homebuilders providing homeownership opportunities to low-income families. Habitat's mission of working in partnership with approved, eligible, low-income families to move them out of substandard housing touches a most fundamental cord in our hearts: that of basic survival. As we reflect on the past 25 years, Habitat for Humanity Maryland's eighteen affiliates are proud of their work toward fulfilling this mission. Their accomplishments include:
- More than 3000 men, women and children no longer live in substandard housing.
- Eighteen local affiliates have been established and are working in 20 out of the 24 local jurisdictions in Maryland. Habitat for Humanity Maryland now reaches families in rural, urban and suburban areas all across the state.
- More than 150,000 volunteers have donated more than 600,000 hours preparing for and building simple, decent Habitat houses.
CMPC is currently working on projects in the Baltimore area. For more information, please contact
