Field Trips and Programs

We have lots a field trips and in house programs to look forward to in 2010

On January 27th our 3day and pre-k classes will be visiting the East Columbia Library

On January 28th the Library will come to us.

In February our youngest classes will take a trip to the postoffice,  and our older children will be going to Pizza hut and Mama Lucia to make pizzas.

In March, Echoes of Nature is bringing two wonderful programs to our school.

April brings spring and trips to the Nature Conservancy (3day and pre-k classes) and Sharps farm (2-day classes)

In May we celebrate Mothers Day with some very special activities.  We will also hold our Trike-a-thon benefitting St Jude's research Hospital.  Last but not least we will hold our annual FUN DAY on the 20th and 21st.

Registration for 2010/2011

Due to the snow, general registration for the upcoming school year will begin on Tuesday, February 16 at 8:30.  Please be aware that if Howard County schools are closed that day we will also be closed. However, if they open late we will also open late (10:30 am) and registration will begin at 10:00 am

INCLEMENT WEATHER MAKE-UP SCHEDULE

Due to the recent weather events we have come up with the following schedule to make up for lost days.

On March 11 & 12 we will have regular scheduled classes (Conferences have been canceled)

Tuesday/Thursday classes will have school from 9am until 12:30 pm beginning March 15 and continuing through April 30

MWF & Pre-K classes will have school from 9 am until 1 pm beginning April 12 and ending April 30.  Snack for these classes is suspended during this period and parents are asked to provide a lunch and drink for their child.
