The Gospel of Matthew – 2021 Summer Adult Bible Study
To further facilitate growth in our faith as disciples of Jesus Christ, the Christian Education Committee is offering an adult Bible study this summer. In this study, Hyiwot Teshome will lead a study of The Gospel of Matthew, held over 6 sessions.
The first session will be held on the week of June 13th, and continue through the end of July (with scheduling breaks Hyiwot will announce). It will likely be held on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Sunday evenings at 7:30p; each session will last 60-90 minutes. If you are interested in participating, please sign up online and let us know your availability. It is recommended, as you are able, that you plan to participate in all 6 sessions to gain full advantage of the lesson plan.
Due to public health considerations, the entire series will be held remotely, over Zoom.
The study is structured with assigned Bible readings (NRSV), which will be announced. You may use your own copy of the Bible, or access it online at http://bible.oremus.org
